Introduction

Developing an overview in a global context is key to understanding the changes that are happening.

That is why we will analyze each of the biomes to understand what they are and what they are and what are the effects of climate change.

First we have to understand that a Biome is a group of characteristics of an environment where a group of individuals live, which can be microorganisms, trees, people or a whole set of them that we can call population or ecosystems.

The savannas and the grasslands

Savannahs and prairies are grassy plains with few scattered short trees. Its climate is warm and they only have two wet and dry seasons. The best known is the African Savannah but savannahs and grasslands are found on all continents. They are very important because they sequester carbon through organic matter, reduce nitro oxide emotions, and help conserve aquifer systems.

If the temperature continues to rise, the balance of this ecosystem will be broken, causing the extension or migration of species, unbalancing the climatic seasons and becoming desert areas. The consequences of climate change for these areas are still being studied, but what is definitive is that the temperature is increasing, as shown in the following video.
